Malaysia Wants Lower Duty On Palm Oil

Malaysia today urged India to review its import duties on edible oils to ensure a parity in the levies on palm oil and soyabean oil.
This plea was made by visiting Malaysian primary industries minister Lim Keng Yaik during his meeting with food minister Sharad Yadav, here, today. At present, the import duty on soyabean oil was far lower than on palm oil, he pointed out.
