Markets clock gains; RCom up 3%

The Sensex has gained further ground and is now trading at 9967. up 64 points.

The Nifty is trading 17 points higher at 3050.

Hindalco has gained 4.6% to Rs 56.70, and Reliance Communication has advanced 2.9% to Rs 252.50. DLF, Tata Steel and ICICI Bank are up over 2.5% to Rs 300, Rs 235 and Rs 476 respectively. Reliance Infra, SBI, HDFC and Tata Motors are all trading 2% higher.

Satyam is down 3.9% to Rs 175, Maruti has declined 2.22% to Rs 537 and Wipro is down 2% to Rs 243. ACC and Ranbaxy are down over 1.5% each.
