Markets end higher led by oil and gas shares

ONGC, Reliance Industries among top Sensex gainers along with HDFC Bank and Tata Motors

Markets ended their losing streak on Tuesday, shrugging off weak December IIP data, helped by gains in oil and gas shares.

The 30-share Sensex provisionally ended up105 points at 19,566 and the 50-share Nifty provisionally ended up 26 points at 5,924.
