Benchmark indices ended lower amid volatility, led by weakness among Oil & Gas and IT shares.

The Bombay Stock Exchange’s 30-share Sensex provisionally closed at 19,435 down 62 points. The National Stock Exchange’s 50-share S&P CNX Nifty provisionally closed at 5,877 down 20 points.
