Markets firm; RCom, Rel Infr surge 4%

The Nifty is up 43 points at 3,969.

Jaiprakash (JP) Associates has zoomed over 8% to Rs 150. Reliance Infrastructure and Reliance Communicatons have surged around 4.5% each to Rs 754 and Rs 406, respectively.

BHEL has surged 4% to Rs 1,453. Ranbaxy and Larsen & Toubro have moved up 3.5% each to Rs 532 and Rs 2,308, respectively.

Mahindra & Mahindra has gained 3% at Rs 482. DLF and HDFC have advanced over 2.5% each to Rs 392 and Rs 1,984, respectively.

Hindalco, Maruti and Tata Motors are up 2% each at Rs 139, Rs 560 and Rs 398, respectively.
