Markets have a buoyant start; Sensex up around 300 pts

The markets have started the first session post the elections result day on an a cheerful note. The Sensex has extended the gains on Friday and is now quoting at 24, 409, higher by 290 points and the Nifty is at 7,288, up 85 points.
