Markets open strong; TCS soars 5%

The NSE Nifty is up 113 points at 3,929.

HDFC Bank has soared nearly 6% to Rs 957. Jaiprakash Associates and TCS have surged 5.3% each to Rs 144 and Rs 766, respectively.

Reliance Infrastructure, HDFC and ICICI Bank have rallied around 5% each to Rs 805, Rs 1,808 and Rs 545, respectively.

DLF has advanced 4.5% to Rs 412. Satyam has gained 4% at Rs 410.

Wipro has moved up 3.7% to Rs 385. Bharti Airtel and SBI are up 3.5% each at Rs 756 and Rs 1,178, respectively.
