Mentha oil futures fall 2.6% on profit-booking
Increased arrivals put pressure on prices

Mentha oil futures prices today fell by Rs 37.10 to Rs 1,380.60 per kg as speculators booked profits, driven by a weak trend at spot market on sluggish demand.
Adequate stocks position following increased arrivals from Chandousi in Uttar Pradesh also put pressure on mentha oil prices.
At the MCX, mentha oil for delivery in July fell by Rs 37.10, or 2.62%, to Rs 1,380.60 per kg in business turnover of 50 lots.
The May contract lost Rs 12.90, or 0.98%, to Rs 1,503 per kg in 1,115 lots.
The fall in mentha oil prices at futures trade was mostly due to profit-booking by speculators, driven by weak trend at spot market on subdued demand, traders said.
