Amid strong domestic and export demand as well as restricted arrivals from producing regions, mentha oil prices rose for the third straight session by adding 0.16% to Rs 858.50 per kg in futures trade today.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, mentha oil for delivery in December gained Rs 1.40, or 0.16%, to Rs 858.50 per kg in business turnover of 6 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in November edged up by 70 paise, or 0.08%, to Rs 846 per kg in 83 lots.
Analysts said besides strong domestic and export demand, restricted arrivals from Chandausi in Uttar Pradesh also influenced mentha oil prices at futures trade.
