Moth weakens in thin trade

In an otherwise steady wholesale pulses market, moth prices fell by Rs 100 per quintal on subdued demand against sufficient supplies in the market.

However, prices moved in a tight range on little doing and settled around previous  levels.

Traders said sluggish demand against sufficient stocks helped wholesale moth prices to trade lower.

In the national capital, moth lost Rs 100 to Rs 3,900-4,200 per quintal.
