Numeric Power rises 20% on bonus issue

The Numeric Power Systems was locked in a 20 per cent upper circuit to close the day at Rs 446.2 on bonus issue buzz. The board meeting to this effect would be held on August 22. The stock opened at Rs 372 and subsequently marched upwards to touch its day’s high by noon time.

Today’s surge of 20 per cent ensured the stock’s 22 per cent gain in the last one month. The scrip rose to its 52-week high of Rs 631 on September 08, 2008 and its low of Rs 130 on March 13, 2009.
