Peas prices up on retailers demand

In limited deals, peas prices rose by Rs 25 per quintal in the wholesale pulses market today on retailers buying in view of marriage season.

Elsewhere, prices moved in a narrow range before ended around previous levels. Traders said fresh buying from retailers due to the ongoing marriage season mainly led to a rise in peas prices.

In the national capital, peas white and green prices were enquired higher by Rs 25 each to Rs 1,875-1,975 and Rs 2,025-2,225 per quintal.
