Potato futures for April fell by Rs 10.60, or 1.3%, to Rs 799.10 per quintal in 30 lots.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, the March contract traded lower by Rs 7.90, or 0.96%, to Rs 812.50 per quintal in 33 lots.

Offloading of positions by speculators driven by subdued spot market demand affected the trade.

Persistent arrivals from producing regions further pulled down the prices.
