Promoters Up Cesc Stake By 4%

The Rama Prasad Goenka group has raised its stake in CESC Ltd, the ailing power utility, by nearly 4 per cent.

The development assumes significance in view of the recent indications that the promoters might have to pledge a part of their stake to lenders to restructure CESC
