Ranbaxy gains 4.8%; ONGC down 5.6%

The Nifty is trading 82 points lower at 4418.

Ranbaxy has gained 4.8% to Rs 526, Bhel has advanced 2.2% to Rs 1,374. Cipla is up 1.7% at Rs 206.

Maruti has gained 0.5% at Rs 735 and Reliance is up less than half per cent.
 
ONGC is down 5.6% to Rs 872.  HDFC and  Infosys has declined 5.2% to Rs 2,206 and Rs 1,904, respectively.

Satyam, HDFC Bank and TCS are down 4.9% to Rs 491, Rs 1,183 and Rs 915, respectively.

 Wipro, ITC, NTPC, ICICI Bank, Bharti, Reliance Infra, DLF, Jaiprakash Associates, Tata Steel and Reliance Communications are the other losers.
