Reliance gains 2.7%; Bharti, RCom down 3%

The NSE Nifty is up 5 points at 4,257.

Reliance has advanced 2.7% to Rs 2,192. Satyam has surged 2.1% each to Rs 454. HDFC is up 1.8% to Rs 2,207.  ITC has gained 1.2% to Rs 188. L&T is up 0.9% at Rs 2,335.

Wipro, ONGC, Cipla, Jaiprakash Associates and Ambuja Cements are the other gainers.

Bharti Airtel and Reliance Communications has lost 3% to Rs 755 and Rs 490, respectively. Maruti was down 2.9% at Rs 670. NTPC has dropped 2.5% to Rs 152. DLF, HUL and Hindalco has declined 2.4% to Rs 442, Rs 208 and Rs 143, respectively.

 

Ranbaxy, Tata Motors, M&M, Bhel, Grasim, Tata Steel and Reliance Infra are the other losers.
