Saria strengthens on pick up in demand

Saria strengthened by Rs 100 per tonne on the wholesale steel and iron market today largely on increased offtake by stockists, driven by pick-up in demand.
Other steel, however, held steady in restricted activity.
Traders said increased demand following pick-up in constructions activity, helped saria prices to rise.
In the saria segment, Kamdhenu 8-mm, 10-mm, 12-mm and 16-25mm were up by Rs 100 each to Rs 41,300, Rs 43,000, Rs 41,700 and Rs 39,550 per tonne, respectively.
