Satyam up 2.9%; Hindalco down 3%

The NSE Nifty is down 7 points at 4,245.

Satyam has surged 2.9% each to Rs 458. HDFC is up 2.8% to Rs 2,230. Reliance has advanced 2.7% to Rs 2,191. ITC has gained 1.9% to Rs 189

Jaiprakash Associates and L&T are up 1.8% each at Rs 158 and Rs 2,352, respectively.

Wipro, Bhel, Reliance Infra, HDFC Bank, Infosys and ONGC are the other gainers.

Hindalco has slumped 3% to Rs 144. DLF has lost 2.8% to Rs 442. NTPC has dropped 2.7% to Rs 152.

Reliance Communications and Maruti  have declined nearly 2.4% each to Rs 495 and Rs 672, respectively.

 

M&M, Bharti Airtel, Tata Motors, HUL, Ranbaxy, Grasim and TCS are the other losers.
