Seamec Ltd rises 5 per cent

Seamec shares surged 5 per cent to close at Rs 182.7 from its opening at Rs 176.10 during the day. Trading volumes stood at 22,591 shares.

After the market hours, the company announced that the deployment of vessel Seamec Princess with Dulam International, Dubai, UAE has been extended for a period of 30 days up to September 29, 2009. The stock is currently trading near its 52-week high of Rs 205.85.
