Sebi Panel For Simultaneous Local, Global Public Issues

The primary markets advisory committee of the Securities & Exchange Board of India (Sebi), which met here today, has recommended that simultaneous offerings in both the domestic and overseas markets may be allowed.
The committee also examined the concept of restricted public offerings by listed companies and felt that Sebi might examine the issue of limited disclosure requirements where the offering is limited to qualified institutional buyers only.
