Sensex at day's high; ICICI Bank zooms 11%

The NSE Nifty is up 194 points at 4,434.

ICICI Bank has zoomed 10.7% to Rs 732. Reliance Communications has soared 10.5% to Rs 517, and Reliance Infrastructure has surged over 10% to Rs 1,013.

BHEL has rallied over 9% to Rs 1,745. HDFC has moved up 8.8% to Rs 2,334. DLF has surged over 8% to Rs 492.

HDFC Bank and SBI have rallied over 7% each to Rs 1,180 and Rs 1,498, respectively.

Tata Steel has gained 6% at Rs 662. Tata Motors has moved up 5.6% to Rs 435, and Bharti Airtel has added 4.8% to Rs 816.

 

Larsen & Toubro has gained 3.8% at Rs 2,670.

Jaiprakash Associates, Grasim, Reliance and Hindalco have advanced 3.3% each to Rs 165, Rs 1,820, Rs 2,224 and Rs 152, respectively.

ACC, Satyam and Wipro are up 3% each at Rs 582, Rs 380 and Rs 407, respectively.

Cipla has slipped 1.5% to Rs 234.

Out of 2,530 stocks traded so far, 2,096 have advanced, 386 have declined and 48 are unchanged.
