Sensex down 20pts; Rel Energy surges 3%

The NSE Nifty is up two points at 5,114.

Cipla has dropped 3% to Rs 218. Tata Steel has shed 2% at Rs 787.

Wipro and Maruti have slipped 1.3% each to Rs 460 and Rs 728, respectively.

ICICI Bank is down 1% at Rs 1,674.

Jaiprakash (JP) Associates has surged 3.3% to Rs 254, and Reliance Energy has has rallied nearly 3% to Rs 1,398.

HDFC Bank has advanced 2.5% to Rs 1,535. Reliance Communications has gained nearly 2% at Rs 588.

Out of 2,600 stocks traded so far, 1,439 have advanced, 1,091 have declined and 70 are unchanged.
