Sensex down 30pts; Rel Energy drops 5%

The Sensex is now down 30 points at 16,600.

The NSE Nifty is down 13 points at 4,844.

ICICI Bank has rallied 2.5% to Rs 1,062. Bajaj Auto has advanced over 2% to Rs 2,162.

Cipla has moved up 1.5% to Rs 189. Tata Steel and Bharti Airtel are up 1% each at Rs 733 and Rs 857, respectively.

Reliance Energy has slumped 5.5% to Rs 1,495. Reliance Communications and Ambuja Cements have dropped 2.3% each to Rs 577 and Rs 113, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro has slipped nearly 2% to Rs 3,251. BHEL has shed 1.5% at Rs 1,870.

Maruti and Hindalco are down over 1% each at Rs 802 and Rs 151, respectively.
