Sensex drops 49pts

The Sensex has declined 49 points to 7,702.

ONGC has slipped over a per cent to Rs 979. Reliance has dropped Rs 4 to Rs 695. SBI has lost Rs 6 to Rs 785, and HLL is marginally down at Rs 166.

Infosys has declined Rs 23 to Rs 2,296. Satyam is also weak.

BHEL is down over 2% (Rs 23) to Rs 1,031.

ITC has added Rs 13 to Rs 1,700. Tata Motors is up Rs 3 at Rs 480. Bharti, Hero Honda, Reliance Energy, TCS and HDFC are also trading with gains.
