Sensex firms up; Grasim, Sun Pharma in red

The Sensex has bounced back and is now up 262 points at 9,334.

Reliance has soared over 6% to Rs 1,147. Mahindra & Mahindra, Infosys and Reliance Communications have surged 5.5% each to Rs 320, Rs 1,298 and Rs 177, respectively.

Reliance Infrastructure has rallied over 5% to Rs 501. Jaiprakash Associates and Tata Steel have moved up around 4% each to Rs 70 and Rs 211, respectively.

Grasim has plunged over 3% to Rs 1,288. Sun Pharma has shed 2% at Rs 1,112.

The market breadth is positive - out of 2,426 stocks traded so far, 1,311 have advanced, 1,016 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
