Sensex flat; ICICI Bank, BHEL gain 2%

The NSE Nifty is down nine points at 5,028.

TCS has slumped 8.8% to Rs 905. Wipro and Satyam have plunged 4.4% each to Rs 434 and Rs 439, respectively. Infosys has shed 3.3% at Rs 1,590.

Ranbaxy has dropped 2.5% at Rs 487. Reliance Communications has slipped 1.5% to Rs 551, and Mahindra & Mahindra has declined over 1% to Rs 632.

ICICI Bank has gained 2.3% at Rs 883. BHEL has surged 2% to Rs 1,808.

DLF, Larsen & Toubro and ACC have advanced 1.8% each at Rs 663, Rs 2,896 and Rs 814, respectively.

Cipla, NTPC and ITC have moved up 1.5% each to Rs 229, Rs 197 and Rs 212, respectively.

 

Tata Motors, Jaiprakash Associates and HDFC are up 1.3% each at Rs 631, Rs 236 and Rs 2,516, respectively.
