Sensex flat; Realty index up 2%

The Sensex rebounded and is now trading flat at 14,318, down five points.

The BSE Realty index has gained 2% to 3,252.

Sun Pharma and Jaiprakash Associates have gained over 2.5% each at Rs 1,316 and Rs 206, respectively.

Tata Motors and Reliance Communications have added 2% each to Rs 350 and Rs 302, respectively.

Tata Power and Grasim Industries are up 1.5% each at Rs 1,148 and Rs 2,263, respectively.

Sterlite has slipped 2.5% to Rs 562 and ICICI Bank is down 2% at Rs 684.

The market breadth is positive- out of 2,264 hsraes traded, 1,417 have advanced and 781 have declined so far on the BSE.
