Sensex up 125pts; NTPC, BHEL lead

The Sensex is now up 125 points at 10,877.

NTPC has surged 3.5% to Rs 120. BHEL and Tata Motors have advanced 3% each to Rs 2,168 and Rs 754, respectively.

Bajaj Auto has rallied 2.6% to Rs 2,532. Gujarat Ambuja, Tata Steel and Dr.Reddy's have advanced 2% each to Rs 105, Rs 506 and Rs 1,417, respectively.

Out of 2,436 stocks traded so far, 1,485 have advanced, 878 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
