Sensex up 12pts; HDFC down 1.5%

The Sensex is exhibiting lackluster movement and is now up 12 points at 11,584.

Hindalco, Larsen & Toubro and Reliance Energy have advanced 1.5% each to Rs 175, Rs 2,387 and Rs 453, respectively.

Ranbaxy, Grasim and SBI have added 1.3% each to Rs 394, Rs 2,232 and Rs 915, respectively.

Hero Honda and Maruti are up 1% each at Rs 721 and Rs 841, respectively.

HDFC has slipped 1.5% to Rs 1,201. Cipla and HDFC Bank are down 1% each at Rs 244 and Rs 842, respectively.

Out of 2,048 stocks traded so far, 1,292 have advanced, 691 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
