Sensex up 158pts; DLF, JP Asso weak

The NSE Nifty is up 56 points at 5,056.

Bharti Airtel has zoomed 6.4% to Rs 898. Reliance Communications has soared 5% to Rs 560.

Wipro has surged 3% to Rs 463. SBI, HDFC and HDFC Bank have advanced over 1.5% each to Rs 1,710, Rs 2,628 and Rs 1,468, respectively.

Satyam and NTPC have gained 1.3% each at Rs 445 and Rs 193, respectively.

Ranbaxy, Mahindra & Mahindra and ICICI Bank are up over 1% each at Rs 481, Rs 637 and Rs 885, respectively.

DLF and Jaiprakash Associates have slipped 1.3% each to Rs 666 and Rs 244, respectively.
