Sensex up 295pts; Infosys rallies 4%

The Sensex is now up 295 points at 18,575.

Larsen & Toubro has zoomed 6.4% to Rs 3,365. Reliance Energy has soared 4% to Rs 1,594.

Hindalco, ACC, Infosys and Reliance Communications have surged around 3.5% each to Rs 170, Rs 1,219, Rs 2,120 and Rs 730, respectively.

BHEL and Satyam are up over 3% each at Rs 2,311 and Rs 485, respectively.

SBI has moved up 2.7% to Rs 1,942.

Dr.Reddy's and Bajaj Auto are down 1% each at Rs 636 and Rs 2,618, respectively.

Out of 2,787 stocks traded so far, 1,388 have advanced, 1,327  have declined and 72 are unchanged.
