Sensex up 81 pts; SBI up 2%

The Nifty is trading at 4880, up 10 points. Jaiprakash Associates has gone up 2.8% to Rs 219.

Satyam has gained 2.5% to Rs 537. SBI has advanced 2% to Rs 1,477. Maruti has gained 1.9% to Rs 779. ITC is up 1.8% to Rs 221.

Infosys has advanced 1.5% at Rs 1,986 . L&T, HDFC, Wipro, M&M, Tata Motors,  Reliance Infra and DLF are the other gainers.

Hindalco has lost 2.8% to Rs 186, NTPC is down 1.8% to Rs 169, and Cipla and Ambuja Cements are down 1.2% at Rs 209 and Rs 94 respectively.

 Tata Steel and Reliance Communications have declined 1% to Rs 892 and Rs 571 respectively.

 

Bhel, HDFC Bank, HUL,ONGC, ACC and TCS are other losers.
