Sensex up 86pts; Ranbaxy surges 3%

The Sensex is now up 86 points at 10,962.

Ranbaxy has surged 2.6% to Rs 387.

BHEL, Wipro, ICICI Bank, HLL, Reliance Energy and Infosys have advanced over 1% each to Rs 2180, Rs 509, Rs 554, Rs 231, Rs 463 and Rs 1,680, respectively.
