Sensex up 92pts; ITC, BHEL advance 2%

The Sensex is now up 92 points at 11,712.

ITC and BHEL have rallied over 2% each to Rs 184 and Rs 2,292, respectively.

Maruti has added 1.8% to Rs 849. NTPC has surged 1.6% to Rs 127.

ONGC, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Cipla, Larsen & Toubro and Reliacne Communications are up over 1% each.

HLL is now down 1% at Rs 238. Grasim is the other notable loser among the index stocks.

Out of 2,302 stocks traded so far, 1,421 have advanced, 794 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
