Sensex up 95pts; HLL slips 1%

The Sensex is now up 95 points at 11,715.

ITC has gained nearly 2% at Rs 184.

Maruti, BHEL, NTPC and HDFC Bank have advanced over 1.5% each to Rs 848, Rs 2,280, Rs 127 and Rs 858, respectively.

ONGC has moved up 1.4% to Rs 1,214. ICICI Bank, Infosys, Larsen & Toubro and Cipla are up over 1% each.

HLL has slipped into the negative zone and is now down 1% at Rs 238.

The market breadth is positive - out of 2,244 stocks traded so far, 1,424 have advanced, 747 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
