Skindia Index Gains Marginally

The Instanex Skindia DR Index rose 0.72 per cent to 517.11 in early trades in London. Among global depository receipts (GDRs), there were five gainers, two losers and 55 remained unchanged.

The GDR of Reliance Industries rose 2.77 per cent to $12.25, while that of State Bank of India (SBI) edged up 2.40 per cent to $15.80 in early trades. Reliance GDR was heavily traded during the morning session. It registered volumes of around 1,00,000. Other gainer was Larsen & Toubro which was up 0.87 per cent to $8.10.

Among losers, Ranbaxy Laboratories shed 0.67 per cent to end at $14.75, while Hindalco eased 0.24 per cent to $12.60.
