Stampede Capital surges after Rs 4,000cr turnover on SGX

Tick by Tick Algo platform has handled trades of around Rs 4,000 cr on Singapore Stock Exchange

Shares of Stampede Capital surged nearly 9% at Rs 175 after the company said that the trading software of its Singapore-based arm handled a turnover of around Rs 4,000 crore.

Tick by Tick data Algo platform of Stampede Technologies Pte Ltd, a Singapore based wholly owned subsidiary, has handled around Rs 4,000 crore worth of trading transactions on the Singapore Stock Exchange in the month of November 2014, the company said in a release after market hours on Friday.

The stock opened at Rs 162 and touched a high of Rs 184 on the BSE. At 10:45AM, over 16,000 shares were traded on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
