The seven associate banks of the State Bank group have initiated informal discussions among themselves to explore the possibility of swapping branches in order to bolster their strength in their respective niche areas of operations. The gameplan of the banks is to not only get out of states where the sister banks have a dominating presence but also to avoid eating into the each other
