Sugar ends flat on adequate stocks

Sugar prices continued to be ruled flat for the second straight day in the national capital today, following scattered buying amid sufficient stocks position.

Marketmen said the prices remained flat due to adequate stocks to meet the ongoing festive season demand.

Following are today's rates in Rs per quintal:

Sugar ready M-30 2,900-3,000 and S-30 2,890-2,990
Mill delivery M-30 2,675-2,775 and S-30 2,665-2,765

Sugar mill gate prices (excluding duty): Kinonni 2,720, Asmoli 2,725, Mawana 2,690, Titabi 2,670, Thanabhavan 2,660, Budhana 2,665 and Dorala 2,680
