Shares of companies whose executives were chargesheeted in the 2G spectrum scam probe fell in an overall firm market on Monday.
Mumbai-based DB Realty and Unitech fell after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) named managing directors of these companies, Vinod Goenka and Sanjay Chandra, respectively, in the chargesheet. DB Realty’s stock lost 2.32 per cent, while Unitech lost 1.31 per cent to close at Rs 41.30 . BSE Realty Index, which tracks realty stocks, ended at 2,404.85, nearly 0.29 per cent higher than previous close. Reliance Communications’ stock fell 2.2 per cent to Rs 109.15 on the BSE on Monday.
