Vardhman Textiles up 4% on Baring India stake buy
On March 11, Baring India Private Equity Fund has purchased 762,964 shares of Vardhman Textiles at Rs 327.92 per share.
Vardhman Textiles has moved higher by 4% to Rs 342 after Baring India has bought an additional over 1% stake in the company for total consideration of Rs 25 crore via open market.
On March 11, Baring India Private Equity Fund III Listed Investment has purchased 762,964 shares representing 1.2% of total equity of Vardhman Textiles at Rs 327.92 per share, the NSE bulk deal data shows.
As on December 31, 2013 the private equity fund held 1.95% stake in Vardhman Textiles.
The stock opened at Rs 330 and touched a high of Rs 344 on the NSE. A combined 24,500 shares changed hands on the counter so far on the NSE and BSE.
