1 dead, 7 injured as car rams into pedestrians

At least one person died, while seven others were injured in Ghaziabad last night, when a car rammed into a group of people, who were on their way to take part in Dussehra celebrations.

The unfortunate incident occurred in the locality of Indirapuram.

The injured persons have been admitted to a hospital, and a police investigation is underway.

Yesterday marked the Hindu festival of Dussehra.
