19 killed in road accident near Faisalabad

At least 19 people, including two children were killed, in a collision between a passenger bus and a truck near Faisalabad in Pakistan on Wednesday.

The accident took place near Theekriwala in Punjab due to 'speeding and reckless driving', reports Dawn.

Dr. Naeem Hashmi, who works at the Allied Hospital in Faisalabad, said that 15 injured people were being treated in the emergency department. Two of the injured are said to be critical.
