50 Cent to star in comedy flick 'Spy' opposite Melissa McCarthy

Curtis Jackson, better known by his stage name 50 Cent, has joined the cast of upcoming action-comedy 'Spy' opposite Melissa McCarthy.

While the 38-year-old rapper will be playing himself in the movie, McCarthy will play a CIA analyst, who goes into the field for the first time along with Jude Law and Jason Statham as spies, the Mirror reported.

'Bridesmaids' director Paul Feig has scripted the flick, which will be produced by Chernin Entertainment and Feigco Entertainment collectively, and will helm it too.
