70 school kids hospitalized after suspected gas leak

Around 70 school students were hospitalized after what was a suspected gas leak at the Kerala Minerals and Metals Limited (KMML). The students in question all belong to a nearby government school.

Around 15 of the students were admitted to ICU and though doctors believe their condition has improved, they are still being kept under observation.

KMML managing director Michael Vetha Siromony has said that the leak was sealed immediately, adding that the leak was of a petroleum burning gas.
