As part of its nationwide expansion plan, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has finally entered Nagaland following the launch of its youth wing.

Announcing the launch at Hotel Saramati here on Saturday, AAP national executive member and North East observer Habung Payeng disclosed that the party was also planning to launch AAP's student and women wing in the state soon.

Payeng, who hails from Arunachal Pradesh, said the party aims to bring changes in the corrupt system in Nagaland and across the country.

"The people of Nagaland were fed up with the present system and government. The AAP has, therefore, stepped in with the aim of freeing the state from corruption starting from the grassroots level," he added.
