Al Pacino 'overwhelmed' with British Film Institute honor

Al Pacino was recently honored at a ceremony in British Film Institute for his outstanding achievement in film and television.
The 'Godfather' star thanked everyone and asserted that people he was "overwhelmed" with the award and he had adored the people who had received this award, the BBC reported.
The 74-year-old actor, who has won the Oscar in 1993 for his role in 'Scent of a Woman', is best known for his hard-hitting roles in the 'Godfather' trilogy, 'Scarface' and 'Dog Day Afternoon'.
The Award was presented by British Film Institute chairman Greg Dyke.
