Al Pacino rejected 'Die Hard' lead role

Al Pacino has said that he put other actors on the road to fame by rejecting a string of major film roles.

He knocked back the lead in 'Die Hard', paving the way for Bruce Willis to grab the part, the Mirror reported.

Pacino also said that he gave a career to Harrison Ford in Star Wars, because he couldn't understand the script.
