Ariana Grande apologises for 'hating Americans' in donut video

Ariana Grande seems to be re-correcting the sin she recently committed when she said in a video that she hates America and Americans.

Defending herself and saying that she's "proud to be an American," the 'Love Me Harder' singer released a statement clarifying that the leaked private video of a donut shop was taken out of context and she actually meant to say those words about the massive donuts that had just been placed in front of her, TMZ.com reported.

The 22-year-old singer has also apologised for not using more discretion with her choice of words.

Sources have informed that the singer, who works with anti-childhood obesity groups, realises that obesity is a serious issue.
