Amid attack at the Karachi airport earlier today, authorities tightened security at the Mumbai airport on Monday.
"Now the security is much better as the police is present everywhere," said Madder Gupte, a local.
Another local Amit Kumar added, "It's very safe now; there is nothing to fear because there are lot of guards even at the security checkpoint."
Earlier in the day more than 5-hour siege led by heavily armed militants, claimed at least 23 lives, including security personnel at Karachi airport.
